Wahsega 4-H Center Science Camp: October 24-26, 2022
This Fall, a select number of CVMS students will have an opportunity to attend a 3-day Science and Environmental Educational camp offered through the Wahsega 4-H Center in Dahlonega, GA, and administered by the University of Georgia. The program offers teachers and their students a varied combination of both natural and equipment resources to aid in the learning process, and is directly connected to the 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade Georgia Standards for Science. CAMP ACTIVITIES INCLUDE:
Opportunity for participation is by invitation. Student Selection and Invitation Criteria will be based on Students' Most Recent Standardized Test Scores, Student Classroom Participation, Student Grades, Student Behavior, Office Behavioral Referrals, and Teacher Recommendations. STUDENT INVITATIONS WILL BE SENT HOME TO PARENTS/GUARDIANS IN early September 2022. THE TENTATIVE COST OF THE CAMP IS $185.00. Please contact Mr. Baker with any questions.
